. I'm so excited. This year the small screamies are going to be looked after elsewhere for a day a week and I am going to have a whole entire six (eight? maybe? or is that too long? oh the guilt) hours to myself.
Yes.
In a ROW.
Me time. Writing time. Sleeping in time. Pottering in the garden time. Not getting dressed until three time. Nobody having a tantrum time. Bliss. Joy.
Okay, so I do feel a touch guilty. But rest assured that I will get over it.
And no, I'm not going to spend my day off cleaning and going around the supermarket. NO.
5 people love me:
Oh Oh Oh.. How blissful... I'm gonna do this too! Copy cat that I am.
Hi,
Came wondering here from Rach's blog. (Hi Rach!)
You're so lucky, or maybe brave? My smallest is only 5.5 months so i can't part with him yet but Miss 2 is off to morning occaisional care this year. If i can do it. I certainly could today if it had been an option!
Off to look around your site!
Hugs, bec
Hi Bec, welcome, hope you like my site, I've been tinkering with it lately and am rather pleased with self!
Rach, glad you're getting some me time as well. I know its well deserved.
Cait!
That sounds so great Cait. At the moment I get a few hours on Wednesday afternoon as I only work part day and I leave Princess in childcare until 4pm. It is heaven and I look forward to it every week. But work's been applying to have my hours increased so I work until 4pm Wednesday. I told them I didn't want to, no no no, but they're quite determined. I'm devestated and can only hope the paperwork will get lost (I do work for the government, so always a possibility).
Enjoy it while you can!
