Sunflower

Just had to rush outside and take a photo of our first sunflower. So pretty and cheerful.

Hi Cait,
Love your sunflower. I must put some in for next year but when does one plant. lol. I love flowers especially hibiscus, frangipani. The list is endless.

Hope you had a great christmas and new year.
All the best
Suz :)

Sunflower seeds should be planted when the soil gets warm. This, according to Jackie French, is when you can sit on it with a bare bottom and it doesn't feel cold. Haven't tried it myself (elderly neighbours), but let me know if it works for you!
