Had to laugh. Been out and about this morning - having back to back morning teas actually - my bladder has gone above and beyond the call of duty today. And damn I have a good pelvic floor even after two kids.
Got home, glanced in the mirror and discovered that I've had my camisole on inside out AND back to front. Yes. Brand name, size and the fact it was made in China on display.
Am still chuckling.
In other news sourdough starter gone wild. Burst out of jar last night - mostly I think because we're sitting on around 25 degrees inside at the moment, maybe a bit more, and this is perfect yeast breeding temperature. Threw half away (well kind of) as per instructions. And added more flour and water
Put it all in a new bowl.
Bubbling nicely.
With the bit I was supposed to throw away - because it was so bubbly and looked like it was doing the right things I decided to try and cook with it. Thus far? Well, not looking so good actually. May have made excellent batch of glue though.

Hi Caitlyn,
You have no idea just how likely I could have done exactly the same thing with the top. Let's just say my husband even sometimes remembers to check cause he knows I won't.
Don't surprise if things settle down a bit with the starter before it gets into it's life time cycle especially if this prodigious result is in the first few days of starter prep.
There are two things that can make it rise like that and only one of them is yeast. It's not a problem if the other option is causing the rise to start with as the yeast will out compete it in time, which you do want it to do as it won't bake properly if it's not the yeast. Once the yeast gets a stronghold it will modify the environment so it is less than favourable to the other option.
Kind Regards
Belinda
Today must be the day for wearing clothes back to front!
As I dropped my boys off at school this morning I noticed the youngest had the tie to his shorts hanging behind him like a tail. He was off in a flash, in a rush to join his mates, I decided I'd just let him go. He didn't realise. I wonder if his teacher will bring it to his attention throughout the day and get him to put them on the correct way.
He is only 5 and does a great job at getting himself dressed each day, I don't want to squash his efforts :)
I'm feeling a little guilty though at the fact that I did realise how he was dressed but I did let him go into class looking a little silly. My only excuse we were already at school, a little late and the bell about to ring.
LOL on the top - I almost did the same thing yesterday! Only realised as I was about to step outside - whoops!! But what I want to know is why no-one you were morning-teaing with thought to tell ya?
Thanks Belinda - as always you're comments are awesome and helpful :)
LOL Life and Memories - my money is on noone noticing at all.
Rach - I wondered that myself, but I was out with new kindi mums, who don't know me very well at all so they were probably just being polite. sigh :)
